The short answer

Zenus AI does not publish a price. Its pricing page, checked on 23 September 2026, offers a quote form and a free consultation but no figures, and the same is true of its facial recognition licence, which promises “fixed pricing for unlimited devices and unlimited enrollments” without stating what the fixed price is. What drives a Zenus quote, according to Skift Meetings’ coverage of the product, is the number of attendees, the number of cameras, and how much on-site or remote support staff you request. So the practical way to budget is to count the zones you want covered, decide whether you need operational tools such as lead retrieval and check-in or analytics alone, and ask for a price per event and per season. For comparison, of the six other emotion analytics vendors we checked, only MorphCast and iMotions publish prices at all; they are listed in the table below alongside our own.

What drives a Zenus quote

  • Cameras and coverage. Zenus uses its own smart cameras, so the number of devices — and therefore the floor area and number of zones — is the main cost lever.
  • Attendee numbers. Relevant for attendance tracking, check-in and access control, which scale with people rather than space.
  • Support staffing. Whether Zenus staff are on site for installation and the show, or support remotely.
  • Which products. Facial analysis, organiser tools, exhibitor lead retrieval and the separately licensed recognition software are distinct products. Two quotes both labelled “Zenus” may cover very different things.

Skift Meetings’ review of Zenus, which discloses that “Skift Meetings receives a fee to review this product”, describes Zenus’s badge-scanning and facial analysis as available “at a significantly lower cost than a conventional RFID or NFC system”. That is a useful anchor if you are replacing RFID tracking, but it is not a published figure.

Published prices from other vendors

Most emotion analytics vendors quote privately. These are the ones that do not, as each vendor’s own pricing page read on 23 September 2026:

VendorPublished priceUnitNotes
Zenus AINot publishedQuote form and free consultation
EchoDepth EventsFrom £1,500 (Standard) / £4,995 (Deep)Per event, ex. travelAnnual programmes from £8,500; single events with no commitment
MorphCast$199 / $499 / $999Per month, by stream hoursBrowser-based; 60-day free trial; for web and app experiences
iMotions (incl. Affectiva)From $3,400 / €3,000 per modulePer yearResearch platform; CORE module required; hardware extra
MoodMeNot publishedOn-device SDK; demo request

These are not like-for-like. MorphCast and iMotions are software you run yourself, for screens and labs respectively; Zenus and EchoDepth Events are managed deployments in a physical venue, where hardware, installation and on-site time are part of the price. What to ask for in a quote

  1. A price per event and a price per season, so you can see the multi-event discount.
  2. Exactly which products are included — analytics only, or lead retrieval, check-in, access control or recognition as well.
  3. The number of cameras and the floor area or zones they cover.
  4. Whether installation, on-site staff and travel are included.
  5. What you receive and when — a live dashboard during the event, or a report afterwards.
  6. How accuracy is measured, and whether they will measure it on your event.

Disclosure. We make EchoDepth Events, which competes with Zenus. Facts about Zenus come from its own website on 23 September 2026. For a full assessment, read our Zenus AI review; for our own prices, see EchoDepth Events pricing.
